Kitchen Makeover – From Honey to Sweet White
Like many homeowners out there, our client Beth decided to brighten up and update her warm early 2000s kitchen. The goal was to give a fresh updated look but keep it a little warm. Since she had good and solid cabinets, there was no reason to replace them. She chose a crisp warm white for the cabinets and kept the island with natural wood tones, and by refinishing the floors with a much lighter stain, it all started to come together. The backsplash got a large white and textured subway tile to keep it clean but still interesting. All she needed to complete this project, was a new countertop. After looking at all the selections in our showroom, we found Montauk Quartz by Hanstone. A perfect match for the space. Subtle and luxurious. The soft pearl undertone of Montauk with warm sandy veining and an ivory marble pattern for a vintage yet modern feel. It was just right for the space! Did you get inspired?
